libio-socket-multicast6-perl software package provides module for sending and receiving IPv4 and IPv6 multicast messages, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libio-socket-multicast6-perl
libio-socket-multicast6-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libio-socket-multicast6-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libio-socket-multicast6-perl *
